Recipes Of The Week #10

Last week’s Cucumber Millet salad was so good, it surprised me! The quesadillas were first on our list and were a great way to start the week. They were simple to make and so flavorful!

I’m one day late on the weekly recipes train. Liv is now 4 months and is awake for 3 hours at a time, which keeps mama busy! Nonetheless, here they are:

Recipes Of The Week #9

I totally foiled two of last week’s recipes!

The quinoa patties did not come out that great and the stir fry and I had a bit of a mishap. I couldn’t find any chilis at the store so the guy who worked in produce recommended jalapenos since they are the same heat grade as chilis. Unfortunately I found out that he was wrong, the hard way. The food was WAY too spicy and we had to brainstorm on how to salvage such a large portion of food so as to not throw it away.

Hope everyone had a great Hallow’s Eve! We celebrated by having a sleeping baby, so we pretty much stayed home this year. On to this week’s food!

I do have to say that I really enjoyed last week’s dishes and they were enjoyable to make! The tacos with the lime juice were so delicious, and the pasta primavera had a simple but rich taste.
