Back With A Brand New Track!

EarthenMama has been on a bit of a hiatus for a while but now I’m back! With great news!

It’s been slightly busy on my end with a lot of fantastic changes going on in my life.

If you’re not familiar with me, my husband and I are a fairly young couple who started a journey together based on some really important, similar goals. We move around, we travel, and we love to experience life. There’s a whole world out there to see and touch and our goal is to do just that, with our three dogs and a hopefully expanding family. I am (we are) health and happiness centered, and believe that everyone deserves the freedom and right to create and manifest opportunities which makes them truly happy and healthy and live their lives to the fullest extent. I use my intuition and heart as my compass for the small and large decisions I make in my life and respect that which guides others in the decisions they make, be they similar or completely different. My goal is to share with you how I stay healthy, happy, and what kind of adventures I embark on.

With that said, I’d like to say that EarthenMama is expecting! That’s right, I’m pregnant and now reaching my third trimester. We  couldn’t believe that it finally happened as this was definitely a planned event. We are so excited to embark on this journey and share our wonderful news and baby adventures with you.

Second, we’ve moved! We have relocated from Houston, Texas to Denver, Colorado! This has been a dream of ours for a couple of years now and we are so excited to see it happen. We fell in love with Colorado when I first read about a town called Boulder, with its organic produce, healthy lifestyle, community centered feel, and protection of open space for everyone to enjoy. It definitely felt like it fit our lifestyle in every way, and we knew we wanted to live there as soon as we could. We visited last June and fell in love, and it was destined ever since. It’s been a bit rocky with the move and pregnancy happening simultaneously, but we are managing it successfully! It’s definitely been a nomadic journey as we’ve had to relocate to and from numerous temporary locations while on the hunt for our first home, but looks like we are almost to the finish line.

Which brings me to my third bit of news, we’ve purchased our first home! We haven’t closed fully quite yet but are weeks away. We actually almost closed on another home prior to this, but the closing fell through during negotiations regarding repairs. This was slightly discouraging but we knew the right nest was out there for us, and surely, we found a home that fulfills our expectations to a much greater extent than the first! We really couldn’t be more content with a home. We really cannot wait to get in there and unpack! I will definitely update with pictures and news as we go along.

Looking forward to posting more regularly and updating on our adventures, hope you’ll join us on our journey!
